Nazarene Bible College currently enrolls over 1000 students in online courses. They are taught by some 120-plus adjunct practitioner faculty members who complement our contract faculty in teaching the nearly 500 sections of courses offered each academic year.
Occasionally, we have need of additional instructors with the following qualifications:
- Appropriate Credentials: The minimum requirement is a Master's Degree with 18 semester hours of credit in the subject area that one would teach. While this is the minimum, it is always helpful to have more education.
- Practical Experience in Subject Area: NBC is a ministry preparation school and we place great importance on the practical application of the subjects being learned.
- Spiritual Maturity: The adjunct instructor's life must show evidence of an established walk with Christ that can be a model for our students. We are a Church of the Nazarene school and most of our students are preparing for ministry in Wesleyan/Holiness settings. Theological compatibility is necessary.
NBC's Online Program is designed around six-week, three-semester credit hour courses. Class sessions begin every seven weeks during the academic year. Class size is generally between eight and fifteen students with an average of 12 students per class.
